You never know what's up until it is

Some times you never know why something happens until it does and while it may be something small rarely does it happen in or at a good time. To cases here one the wifi connection that I used to count on went into the manure pile. It might be its just down or perhaps the student who used it close to me left for the summer which means another damn expenses. Two, I went to snag some good old Goody's Headache powders, know what? Could not find them anywhere so I had to get something much less in quality. And they wonder why bars are so busy on the weekend. Any way not much to report will be on TV Monday. See all then. Oh and by the highway found a sweet honey at the Press Box Bar in Pocky here by the name of Brandy who is a dead ringer for Markie Post. Now if I can only get in touch with my ad man John or P.J. Until Monday travel easy.

Tow drivers do it best and ever had to deal with SSI?

blog header

Every one in the business of going towing knows we usually do the impossible. A disabled rig in a ditch on the side of a 9% grade and we somehow always recover that rig nearly if not completely intact with very little if any damage its not just a job its an adventure as well as a passion. However its not that way in every enterprise especially the US Government. You call , get transferred to some idiot call taker who then puts you on hold and then only tells you we'll try to help. What if we did that us in Towing that is? I can tell you that there would be a coast to coast metal scrap pile on just about every busy Interstate as well as rural highway. But then what do you expect? It is after all the USA Government. There is a needed drastic change in our nation and I'm beginning to think the idea of a southern revolution needs to occur in the eyes of many this is not so much of a stretch. Okay so Obama is now the nominee for the big job of President. John McCain is not showing me much and one needs to ask just where is our nation headed? Could a mail carrier not deliver something as important as an SSI check? Of course yes there is Direct Deposit, and that is safer but the fact is doesn't anyone take pride in their job and want to do it without flaws? Of course we in towing do. Many of us will call our customers back after a tow or recovery job and ask were you satisfied with our performance? If so great, if not, we try to repair the damage as well as improve our services. What if SSI , or say the IRS did that? My what a great nation we would have. So the next time your told to your face that all you are is a tow operator explain in reply , "I am a disabled vehicle recovery technician and I do it with pride." Also ask them do they show as much pride in their job? That's it for today, more Friday and why I ain't on TV much any more.
