StarDate 85331.60 Not so damn fast and teaming with Tanto

CFSTR TYMEZ HEADER

Maybe a quik exit from Eastern Idaho might be shooting ourselves in the foot. Or so was the thoughts here at the Wolf's Den. For as many weeks as we rather I have been in Eastern Idaho I have been working on a method to slam the move from Rupert to Pocatello in reverse. A move that was made indirectly from a hustle from Brian Nugent of KPIF -15 of Chubbuck Idaho. Why couldn't the guy just told me the rates of an overnight infomercial and be done with that? Instead we began discussions of a complete station buy, and ya'll who have been reading this publication know what I'm talking about. However yesterday in working out our battle plan for May into mid June when I head out for DukesFest on the 15th of June, as the battle plans were being worked on, I saw a clip blip on the local news about the Shoshone/Bannock tribe and all putting together a travel stop at exit 89 just outside of Blackfoot and expanding the current location of its casino. Both of which means truckers and tourists, which means rides that give up the effort occasionally and which means green for Dixie(Southern-Eagle-Xpress) Towing. Why plant seed in Pocatello, when the field really duzz look green near Blackfoot? So instead of trying to hit Boise right now how about hitting the mid quarters of eastern Idaho? So I be looking at that this next month. However the main push is to polish the bush of AyreWolf Aviation as that is what is bringing home the groceries so that the story. As far as TV and media. If Pocatello has one, and neither Blackfoot nor IF has a public access TV thing going why not look to plant that seed in that field? Called Bud and will be in his village in the afternoon, then get all that is needed to get my 6 legal truck wise. More Friday.

STARDATE 85323.68 AYREWOLF'S SUNDAY WOLFTRAXX TEEN MOVIE UNITES WITH HBO COMEDY AND : IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY

AYREWOLF LOGO

Take the movie She's All That, combine it with HBO's old series Sex In The City and what do you get? Gossip Girl on the CW Network. The drama is not bad and reaches back towards the times of both Felicity, Dawson's Creek and 7th Heaven of part of the CW the WB. But the drama is trying too hard to git-r-done and shows teens who have major money in a NYC setting which while possibly a motivator to inner city youth is not doing anything for our rural or not so well to do inner city or small town youth's self image or esteem. Why not put the same thing together within a more rural backdrop? A long with someone not dripping mucho money out of their ears? Just a youth without the big money trappings just trying to get along. To me this would make a much better series. On Wednesday the 30th of April the CW launches Farmer Wants a Wife. What is part of the lingo in the promo for the series? A big rooster crowing after the announcer sezz these gals will want to wake up to a big, then the shot of the rooster. (COCK) . What kind of message is this sending to our youth? While the series, which by the way I would be happy to get behind ad money wise locally with AyreWolf Aviation and Road Wolf Truck And Tractor Repair , which Brian has not seen fit to talk to me about or even visit me about. Which makes one think, the man and KPIF is hurting, hell bleeding money to death and yet his pride is keeping him or his staff in coming to see me. No matter ho many sales people he hires which is mostly on commission, with a very limited base pay, mostly commission if you promise somebody something especially someone that uprooted from a good old house, and sacrificed a good towing season just to give his station a kick in the butt in a good way, and move to Pocatello that is dying day by day and hour by hour, makes no mind if you treat folks like they are trash your not going to make many sales. My Birthday arrived at the Wolf's Den thought Brian was coming over at least for that but nope, but even my own kin namely Bud nor my son came by but then I did not expect that. At least last year in Heyburn slim as money was at least some of the Wolf-Pack and BlackSheep came by got me and I had a few beers and well some sack action. Anyone looking at this would say man get your six out there in Pocatello, and get back to where at least you can breath. Which I begin to do, this month. But there still are some things to do here in Pocatello on behalf of the BlackSheep so I will finish, but looking to be back west of here end of June. But as it was a shitty Birthday. I will however make it up next weekend.

StarDate 85315.66 Happy Birthday to me at least it should be but tit tain't

rebelwolf1

Well it is that one time of the year when I look to celebrate the fact that I made it one more lap in the race of life on Planet Earth. Yes April 27th I turn 49 and although I should be celebrating it because of many things I sit by myself. No money and just being cranky, not about being 49 or my birthday by myself, just flat being by myself. Although no grand memories leap into my cerebral cortex of being in Wyoming I noticed the last trip through that the office I wanted for the radio station is once again available for $200.00 a month. Not thinking because of no drinking but perhaps I set up camp there long enuff to recover equipment and maybe some dignity from the town. But if nothing else somewhere that albeit it was cold as hell there weather wise most there liked me and in many cases I never needed snuff always had it, had beer and so I be looking that way, perhaps Tammy WAS right that Idaho was slow and not yet ready to harvest. Any way I'll stay home Sunday my birthday, and do a doob and feel boobs next week. So from me to me Happy Birthday, the Wolf turns 49. Sunday.

StarDate 85315.39 Drug use amongst teens can hurt you and your business.

blog header

You might not have thought about this , this way but drug abuse amongst our teens and people for that matter can not only hurt you , it can also hurt your business. No I'm not just not tawking about that tow truck pilot you just hired that had drugs in his or her system that you just found out about since they failed their last DOT required piss test. No, I'm tawking about the people at the parts supply store who can't get your order right or to you on time. The young college youth who works at the fuel stop who just overcharged you because they were hopped up on Meth, or the mail worker who just returned your last AWDirect catalog since they were so stoned they could not even read the name or address much less deliver it to the right address. Nope, I'm tawking about all of that. Of course there are more serious breeches of drug use in our youth, that will byte you by the 6 if your not watching. Like waiting for that really needed big check from that insurance company whose wasted employee forgot to mail it our your local postal worker was so banged that they not only ignored it but threw it away by mistake. But what can you do? Join up with your local FUZZ and get involved to solve the problem. How the Hazzard County Road Warriors Association plans on doing that next coffee stop, but remember , drug use can hurt you/.

PAPER LOGO

ANTM

It is the next to the last episodes for group 10 of America's Next Top Model in Italy. Yeppers friends they hopped the big blue byrd flew over to Rome, and tried to be as much at home there as they might be in NYC. Of all this seasons candidates it is Whitney I'm pulling for. Besides not being a size 3 on this years roster she has more class and sass than any of them. Who is your favorite, let me know here or on my TV show. Had to scrub that for this Friday through next week since no gas to pass to go to the studio. So staying at the Wolf's Den get things done here so I can get it in gear for going to Wyoming and crawling up some Uinta County employees ass's to get the title to LiL Lexi, to get it legal here in Idaho. I have been passive twice, this tyme the wolf will show my teeth.  County Fuzz and all tells us all to say no to crack and drugs but I think some Uinta County employees are using more than a few rocks, they have lost theirs.  Know What I mean? I'm also going to it seemz going to have to see an attorney and all to get these ass wipes off the ball. And then some folks wonder why I really wanted the frig out of there. It tweren't just Tammy. StarDate 85307.40 Some people are just too damn stupid and too stuck up to help. And don't know they need it.

PAPER LOGO

So Monday came I trucked on down to the TV station to do my show all seemed to be well. Then somebody called in about the time I was commenting about the severe serious brown nosing and lickalottass in City Hall of Pocatello especially when it comes to CH-12. Seems as I was a tawkin about that the audio was not heard . Tech goof or something done on purpose, you be the judge. Oh sure the frigging TV channel is for tawking about the issues and concerns of the city but with the economy as it is and a near no job posture of the area holding onto ones job is such that interfering on ones TV show can be a tempting path to follow. But I made it home. Tried to stream CH-6's new streaming live news, guess what ? This should not be surprising, they(ch-6 that is) Can't do that right either. But then after all it is Pocatello. To those who say if ya'll don't like the place move away. Guess what I'm going to pitch that on Wednesday's show. Let ya'll know.

StarDate 85302.02 Ghad sezz Free Speech my Ass

rebelwolf1

Oops I tried to put up this other blog in fact been trying to put it up all day to my blogger account about online web advertising and how it just plain sucks at least from some of these online nearly fraudulent outfits like LowermyBills.com First ain't seen Lower my Bills , do any reduction of my bills second these little birds pulling worms out of the ground with the names of states, on em, and them Jiggaboos dancing all over the place , come on now some creativity would be good here. Of course when it do come to some national TV ads they is about the same. No creativity just bland ads. One is for this outfit called Mega Insurance. Hong Kong Phooey every one on that ad is a employee posing as a customer. There are others but what I'm shaking here is this, if your going to pay that much money for an ad be it TV or the Web for heck sakes put some spice in it. The ads I see as mentioned are like eating tacos at an LDS Relief Society dinner, good but could use some real oopmph.  But getting to my point. If there is to be open speech on Blogger and so on, for damn sakes let me say and/or write what I want to. Don't block me out., It's as bad as living in a mosque  somewhere or in Iraq. The Ghad sezz : Free Speech My Ass.

StarDate 85301.60 There is just so much room in the pipe and the pipe is getting smaller:

ARW DESKTOP

Last week I read in one of my trade publications about the fight between Yahoo and Microsoft in Microsoft's bid at $45 billion to buy Yahoo. The deal sezz Yahoo the price offered for the buy is way too low. Okay so what? Who the hell uses much of Yahoo anyway. I use Yahoo messenger and mail but that's about all forget Yahoo's classifieds section that makes it a requirement to rake out the plastic to post an ad, especially a help wanted ad. Too many people are in debt due to over using their plastic money. Most of these debt reduction help companies are out for high commissions paid by the credit card money to recover that money, but only if you owe $10,000.00 or more. How about a credit help service to those of us trying to dig out of debt due to greedy ex wives or Trust Fund administrators who say go out and put the deal together and we'll pay for it, but when it comes to pony up, the Trust Fund Trustee sezz we'll look at it some more. Which mean egg on my face and more of an axe to MY credit not his. Then let's look at Internet Service Providers who will tell you anything just to keep you a customer but then never follow through. To date BridgeMaxx still has not sent a service tech out to see me, and the same throughput is still slow if it makes the trip at all. Yet I have a wifi connection only a cuppl spaces down from me and while slow the thing rolls on through. It's not all BridgeMaxx's fault however  as the pipe is only so big and only so much water or web traffic can flow through that pipe. In computereeze its called bandwidth. And let's face it on a Saturday night with only reruns of Still Standing on our local CW KPIF-15 here in Pocatello Idaho on that TV most who are in between welfare and SSI checks are on the web. Out of 45,000 people in one place 20,000 or so are on BridgeMaxx and that's a bunch of traffic. As Microsoft looks to force buy Yahoo, both FoX and AOL are looking at snatching up Yahoo, just as Yahoo, is making a undercover deal with Google. For more 411 look up the article on eweek.com As I close this out for this Saturday I must say to my friend Brian, as bad as your hurting for ad money pal, can you continue to ignore me? Farmer Wants a Wife is coming up faster than a run away truck down Bliss grade (Bliss is a small town in Idaho with a 8% grade just outside town limits) Farmer Wants A Wife is the perfect venue for Dixie Towing maybe pal you need to come see me.

Something good happened to me today and I'm feeling very up. Some of the court battle from the annuity fight to recover money for the Montgomery Trust/Foundation is set to be released in two months. With that and the fact my nephew Tim's wife a chemistry engineer has found a process whereby oil from the peppermint plant that grows in Hazzard can be made into bio diesel. With that in mind we are beginning the formation of a thing we will call Confederate Star Energy Corp. Some of the funding from this formation will enable us to proceed on the purchases of both KPIF-15 TV out of Chubbuck Idaho and the purchase and renovation of CH-12 here in Pocatello. I have been trying to get this out most of the afternoon. I will report more on this in the AM, but dear Brian if your out there reading ya'll best get over to my house so we can talk.

StarDate 85298.39 To Speak or not to speak that is the problem Whoof!!!

PAPER LOGO

In about a half hour I will truck down to CH-12 to do Friday's edition of Dixie Diesel Maximum Overdrive TV. The part of what is heard on Hazzard County Radio dealing with issues and concerns of those who try to make a buck driving a truck. The trouble I'm having is every time I get to wanting to open my mouth about something that might be of a nature that may make a few of those Mormons here a bit put off. The thing is not everybody in Pocatello is LDS, or follows that path although many would want it that way. Full dominion of anything is wrong. Even God above allows us to have free agency. The thing is just as it is with any media there is a quick option to opt out, turn the thing off or switch channels. The big trouble I think is that what I'm doing is setting a precedent for radical FREE thinking. Hey in this side of the state there is just no room for that in the view of those running CH-12. The thing started a few weeks ago when I ran some of the segments from Sue Magarvie Sex with Sue .com The reason I talk sexual issues on my shows is not to be smutty its to do some serious education to those who just might need it, my core listeners , the American Trucker not to be a Q&A for youth wondering if they need to let good ole Johnny poke a bit of fun after the dance. But hey according to the staff mainly the director there we just can't have that. The basis of this goes much deeper than keeping CH-12 a clean squeaky sweet channel. It goes to the fact that I have been pushing to get someone in charge of CH-12 that has a bit more of an open view and focus not to allow someone to speak their own mind. But it is of a nature not here. The only reason I keep at it there is simply in a very few more weeks I'll be setting my sails towards moving to the much warmer side of Idaho. Once I get settled I'm going to pitch my show to Treasure Valley/Boise's cable access channel. Meaning a bit more radical thinking but a show that will need much more polish. More tonight gotta truck.

StarDate: 85293.60 Just another manic Wednesday;

PAPER LOGO

I guess I'm supposed to inject something here but Wednesday today just did not mean much. Not that I was expecting anything super natural to take place but my TV show at CH-12 got derailed when this kid who I thought was a ISU student that turns out to being a Highland High student and whose friends made the guy out to be queer has be seriously wondering. Its a proceed with caution moment and situation. The real problem is try as I might I'm not finding the on air talent that a production like mine requires or deserves. But again that rude reminder of this is not Nashville nor Hollywood or even Boise, it is after all Pocatello. And the means a real noose around the neck of something that could rise above much if not all that is on any TV station here done locally. Thursday I put in some footwork at ISU let you know what flows.

StarDate 85291.25 Live media may be on its way back to your neighborhood

NUP_108633_0290

Back when I started in broadcasting at the tender age of 12 doing a local bit for our FFA chapter of Hazzard High School, radio in fact most media including TV was 85% LIVE. From sitcoms to TV talk shows and even news it was LIVE. Radio was LIVE. We had radio personalities in the studios doing local radio and someone from our community was in that announcers chair. There was very little pre recorded anything except for ads and music. Then came an outfit called Drake - Chanault who introduced many small broadcasters in mall towns that by being a point of delivery of Drake's broadcasting, that they could save money and do away with at least two shows or radio hosts a day. Except for what broadcasters call prime drive time, mornings and afternoons as folks were going home during the day the studio sat empty. Except for an on air board, a computer and satellite programming coming from who knew where. Forget calling in for your favorite song, it just was not there. Sure the satellite network said call in on an 1-800 number but by the time you got through the person doing the hosting from some eastern area station studio was off the air. Well the FCC has heard from you and is mandating as of 4-28-2008 that local stations become just that more local. That means someone has to be in that studio chair 24/7/365 or else no renewal of that FCC ticket that allows them to be on the air. TV will have to be doing about the same. Some stations like our KPIF CH-15 the CW here in Chubbuck Idaho will have to have at least a local news broadcast and a bit more if it wants its FCC tag renewed or at least renewed without being put under a heavy duty microscope by the entire commission. Now I can see issues on both sides. The needs of he public to have someone from their town that they know is important. On the same road just in another lane, where do you find that on air talent? I predicted this need back 25 plus years ago in Boise at the Western Idaho State Fair when I pitched the idea to Boise State University as they were taking a survey of courses of interest and need. BSU heard my pitch but here in Eastern Idaho that noise has been purtty much been ignored. When Dixie Diesel Trucker Radio first signed on in 1976 in Hazzard, it was done to be absolutely LIVE. Dixie Diesel Trucker Radio and its flagship station KTOW FM has remained LIVE 24/7/365, done by members of the Hazzard County Road Warriors Association along with off duty members of the United American Independent Truckers Association, which the availability of on air talent is one major part of our media arms decision on where to place a working station of our network. The training is not out there as much as it used to be and maybe this new order by the FCC might put a boot in the butt of some college area administrators to create training for such. Sure many large Universities have 4 year journalism courses, but how about a 1 year training program in the VO-TECH arena to teach basic on air skills, and enable future radio and TV hosts to gain an on air presence to be able to be that soon to be required on air personality that is a big question. To my friend over at KPIF , hey Brian , I told you once , I'll tell you again there is a low cost way to get your localism problem solved but your not visiting me perhaps you need to, that is if KPIF wants to renew its license next year. My thoughts on this and more can be heard on Cable access channel 12 here in Pocatello, Mondays from 5pm to 6pm , Wednesdays from 2:30pm to 3:30PM and on Friday's 5:00pm to 5:30PM. Until L8R

You have to forgive Yankees they know not what they do. Plus, Rupert got its day of fame today.

ACG HEADER LARGE

It is Monday, with a cold blustery wind blowing and while the sky has sunshine Mother Nature is considering raining or at least snowing on us, so take a jacket out ya'll may need it. When an area such as Pocatello needs serious infusions of capitol to get its economic engine running on all 8 cylinders you would wonder why the locals would shun new ideas and concepts. There is the thought patterns that say not here. Many say its not having enough water or that bringing in new business's might have an adverse environmental impact on the community. Huh? If I were looking at it the thing is, some good infusion of a new business or business's would help the economic impact and thus create a tax base to get a better water and infrastructure improvement not hurt it but then I look at it from a Hazzard County, southern bred kountry guy and not as a big city guy. Or an old fart wanting Pocatello and elsewhere immediate to shrink. And remain the same. So I'm looking at becoming a member of the local Chamber of Commerce among other groups to help heat up the soup to make the place better. Okay then, saw on the Today show from NYC that they the show that is came to of all places Rupert to do their weather inputs for their show. Yeppers the Today show. Al Roacker came and did this bit out at the Idaho Youth Ranch. Although the location had nothing to do with the Youth Ranch. The location they shot everything from was a farm house on the outskirts of town. Unless you had been there you would not know that location, but I do. At least Rupert got its day of fame. But did you notice nothing was said about Eastern Idaho, but the town of Buhl was mentioned? Also did you notice that on the side of the Ryder truck was the KTVB TV 7 out of Boise on the side? Maybe its time Eastern Idaho woke up.

My opinion I could be wrong

NUP_108633_0290

Over reaction or over-reacting to anything can burn bridges that one day we might again need to cross. Take for instance this feud between a former associate of mine, Brian at KPIF TV-15 the CW of Pocatello Idaho. Amongst a basic concept of buying time for Dixie Towing and forming a foundation for Dixie Diesel Television the basic thrust became the Hazzard Knytes buying said station KPIF. When that idea got tabled not completely forgotten or stopped just tabled until some minor money conditions and situations got settled and my objections as to how a small talent audition project for America's Next Top Model TV show Brian not only stopped seeing me but purtty much bombed the bridge we were putting together. Both things have hurt both of us. Brian needs really needs ad revenue. Apparently those selling for him are not gaining the results he needs, since it would seem that KPIF is bleeding money wise. On my end I did not get my ads produced to give a boost to me going towing and both of us are suffering because of it all. Except I am out doing a bunch of bird-dogging for KPIF and trying to get those who need a less expensive way to tell the business's story to the public to place ads on KPIF. Yet Brian still does not come buy and at least I consider the guy a friend. However this does not include the feud that is about to start between me and the dillweed farts that run the local branch of BridgeMaxx Internet Service. The place is called Galaxy Computers of Pocatello. The first horse out of this gate is the owner of Galaxy Computers f Pocatello is an Arab or somewhere over there. Thus for many reasons I do not trust him, and looking back I should have just held back from using his service that has not worked right since it was installed. Now around the first of May, I'm taking in a payment of $150.00 and telling BridgeMaxx that I'm paying for the hours the damn thing worked and the speed I got, but not what I'm being charged for what did not work. When it comes to Brian, and KPIF, while I'm not yet ready to climb back in bed with KPIF, I will do my best to support Brian since his station is the most powerful TV station in the valley and the CW is one of the best as far as programming is concerned. But why a guy would hold onto both pride and retain the strain of a grudge when he could surely use my and the Hazzard Knytes's green is beyond me. Maybe soon Brian will once again figure out that I am one person that deserves his friendship and time.

StarDate 85281.43: The Critters are confused and my is it funny Confederate Star Tymez for Saturday

PAPER LOGO

There are weeks and then there are weeks I'd love to forget. The past week is of the latter. First I have to spend money to drive all the way to Evanston Wyoming to fetch a vehicle title to register my LiL Lexi since I had not transferred same to Idaho for over a year which is partly my fault but I go all the way to Wyoming only to find that the computer system of Uinta County Wyoming is down so no title. So I then drive very carefully to Paris Idaho get a 30 day permit to at least be partly it legal for a month, pay my insurance of $117.35 then I get asked to leave a bikini bar here in Pocatello since I had asked a few of the gals that work at Club 91 of Pocatello Idaho if I could hire a few of them to feature on TV ads. They there call it propositioning the gals who is propositioning who? Me for a simple inquiry or them wanting me to spend $2.00 for body shots, or for private lap dances? You be the judge, now ain't that funny? Okay I bet the wild fowl are udderly confused since with the weather being so dang cold in the southern regions of he Rocky Mountain West and the northern area being so much warmer they have no idea where to fly. I have always thought that these northern yanks have no brains and the real brain drain? Folks like Al Gore and the other tree huggers are all clambering about how we are experiencing global warming. My six, its global freezing. Lets punch some holes in Alaska and get some oil flowing and reduce the cost of some of this foreign oil we import and what makes diesel and gas so dang expensive.  As I slept last night I thought of the need to relocate yet again and while that plan is still on the battle boards I also thought wouldn't it be a real hoot if I stayed put for a year or thereabouts and put this media thing together? Along with a real working ISP for not only me but all that live here. Call the ISP HazzComm and make it where it is true broadband at 10 megz of speed only do it via wifi? Or at least wireless connection. Sunshine is expected here this weekend with a slight chance of gusty winds along with increasing clouds through Monday with highs ranging in the mid 40's lows upper 30's. I'm off to go see big Lexi , so will see all of you on Monday. Have a great weekend.

The Difference between seduction and prostitution

PAPER LOGO

There are tymez I think that everyone sits down looks at themselves and asks the question what the hell am I doing here. To the age old question is this all that I am and is there nothing more. Case-n-point, went out to this dive here in Pocatello Idaho called Club 91 , which is a bikini bar. Its nearly a strip bar but due to the fact they serve brew and booze there, no showing of boobs. Okay so I have asked on more than one occasion a few of the gals there might they want to do something else besides shake their butts and have strange guys slobber on them all night. Like be on TV and video things that we at Southern Steele Media and all does. Might the ability to generate some real cash doing tasteful video ads , co-hosting TV shows like Hazzard County Kountry TV , Dixie Diesel Maximum Overdrive TV and others be better than nearly turning tricks as they do , doing private dances and all for sex starved men? I suppose not. Now the bar owner has never said boo to me about asking the gals but this bouncer jerk got his feathers in a tiff so guess what? This high octane Kaynyne ain't going in there any more. Goes to what I have been saying for a long spell, in Pocatello, you get 4 steps ahead and constantly get knocked 3 steps back. Unfortunately there is not a labor force for getting professional on air female talent here, nor anywhere in the mountain west. Whether that be Utah, western Wyoming and especially eastern Idaho, and that includes Pocatello. I went down to the local Chamber of Commerce this morning, but getting these kinds of restrictions and inhibitions not to mention but I will, hindrances makes one think whether or not you drink that I rethink Pocatello, and be working on the original concept of heading west back to the Twin Falls area. Not that ,that area is anywhere close to allowing such things, but then there you do not expect to find such talent. Granted Pocatello or the immediate area is not Nashville, or NYC or even Hollywood, but one would think that with a city dependent on a 4 year University like ISU and all students having tuition raised and needing extra money to support their college years that a gal who could make $50.00 to a $100.00 an hour with benefits unlike that strip bar provides would jump up and down to do such a thing, but then I need to remember where I am at, Pocatello ain't Boise and will never be that good. So I'm looking at ditching this neighborhood.

A friendly get together and winter is still here What's this about Global Warming? More like Global freezing.

PAPER LOGO

I hit the big road at 06:00 Thursday forget that Thursday's are my day off of business life I had things to get done. I swung through what is called Swan Valley of Idaho through a town called Virginia funny a town by the same name as a state in another state. Any mile so trucked through there through Preston after getting $20.00 in go fluid. Price of go fluid in Preston $3.34, price in Pocatello $3.43 something is rotten in Poky. Hole in my boot out of the chute I was wheelin, got mid point up southern canyon. Saw mostly snow all the way through. But the white crystals on the trees and the sublime peace this is why I love long hauls. Got to Evanston Wyoming, but the critters computer system was down, so could not get title or tags, but have it being mailed now and with a 30 temporary I'm okay. Got home, paid my insurance on LiL Lexi and decided after it all needed some 30 weight brew. Saw some buns with my burger and brew at Club 91. Also saw our director of the Chamber of Commerce there with some members of the MIA/POW group. The director had her Birthday today, and got a public lap dance. With it so dang cold these days I am wondering about Al Gore and all these tree huggers saying it's global warming, Hong Kong Phooey, it's more like Global Freezing More in the mid AM.

StarDate:85272.71 Reunited but I wonder if it feels good yet?

PAPER LOGO

Good morning Knytes and all it is Wednesday and looking forward to a bright new day. Looks as if mother nature is going to co-operate as Mr. Weather sezz it's going to still be somewhat snowy here today and yet I'm feeling warmer. I just want to know when does Spring start. Forget that it started in March supposedly as if its spring it's supposed to warm up. It didn't yet. Ain't yet and racing trials here have not got started and for those farmers trying to get in the fields been too wet. Planting will get off to a slow start. In 2004 I discovered something living in Utah let me restate that, existing in Utah, I found that while most there love to eat they cared less about how that food was raised and processed more-over how it got to their store. I at the time made it my mission to render a cure to the arrogance and ignorance that Utah had on both production agriculture and trucking. More over agriculture. When I folded up the tent and headed back here to Idaho in 2006 I thought my dayz of preaching the value of America's and the mountain west region farmers was no longer needed and that I could focus more attention on just trucking. My was I wrong. In a state where 80% or better of the states economy is structured on and dependent on the revenue of production agriculture the eastern area of Idaho is by far the most ignorant. Sure two TV stations run a farm show. KPVI-6 Pocatello runs AG/DAY, KIDK-3 runs U.S. Farm Report on Sundays yet very little local farm news is seen more or less focused on. So once again I have to split my media and blog reporting in two. Some for agriculture and the other for trucking. My I could use a full production and writing research staff. But few would give it I suppose the same affection and attention as I do. Because I see the beauty of both, farming and trucking not just the money making side. When that plow is sunk into fresh soil, the sea gulls flying all around, and the promise of a good crop makes my heart sing. Trucking on an early morning through a mountain pass seeing the creation of God above with only the stacks crooning and the tires playing the melody is part of the joys of both. Plus coming from a family of both farming and trucking gives me a perspective that few others can muster. So its back in the field and on the road again. Putting farm and trucking news on TV and all where little is already makes for long days, at least for a one man band. While many of The Hazzard Knytes, the Hazzard Road Warriors, are involved their time is spent trucking and these days keeping the wheels turning so they can be earning is a big chore especially with fuel prices especially diesel being so high. So being as my trucking is more towing and having more time on my hands I do the reporting and organizing what we do for the media. Speaking of media. In 2005 I met online and finally in person a fine looking gal from up in Montana that while younger than I knew more than most I had met. While at first I was just considering her for a on air talent she soon became someone for being behind the camera not just in front of it. She told me that Cokeville was a mistake. That I would be sorry, but male pride moved me to Wyoming. I should have directed myself more to northern Utah as I had planned. If I had done so, the some $50,000.00 I lost and nearly freezing to death one weekend in Cokeville would never have happened. Which as smart as I am, I need Julie and others to tell me when I'm about to hit the wall. Any mile it is Wednesday, more at noon.

I never thought but then maybe that's why I need Julie

I used to think that computers and especially the web was the best thing on the planet. I really used to have fun with it and although limited then as it is now I usually could find things. One I did find was a site called Wolf FM . Com, a streaming radio web site that was part of a seed that got planted in my head. If a guy in a wheel chair that is blind from his apartment could put together such a good thing so could we or so I thought. The Internet could be a delivery point for us going towing, trucking as well as all things Dukes-of-Hazzard. Remember Hazzard with Dukes always is spelled with two Z's. Any mile. While the FCC had limited and put a hold for new radio and or TV stations applications there was nothing holding s back from streaming on the air, through the Internet. From that hour in 2003 I thought it'd be easy, my was I going to be suprpized. Not only did I have to do my 4 hour show, but had to figure out how to keep it all rolling 24/7 365 and on demand. But with help from Abacast out of Oregon and a few others the process began. But how do you get people to where you want them to log on and listen? You advertise of course both TV and trade print. Now spending big money on TV and trade ads can be trickey. If you do not have an ad that grabs folks by the crotch to make them not get up and take a wizz or grab a brew it'd better have at minimum eye candy. But where do you find such at least in the Mountain West where pro talent agencies are few and far between? You look on the net of course, but then the results might be good or at least risky. This escalated to a peak when I moved to Bountiful Utah. Finding the talent was sorta good, but got plenty of the fuzz in my neighborhood a bit hot under their gun belts. So in desperate notion I put into motion a move to Wyoming. During this time I found online a super hottie by the name of Julie, whom made me see daylight. Problem is when she saw the shack in Cokeville that I was going to pay big money per month for she said take a different course. Which looking back I should have done. Not only could I have saved much of our broadcast gear that was stolen but also could have saved nearly $50,000.00 of the Hazzard Knyte' money but nearly $3,000.00 of my own money, plus that 24 hour freeze over a weekend there would have not happened. As smart as I am about trucking , towing, production agriculture and all I have no real smarts when it comes to big I mean reall big media business. Sure I can produce, write and put a show or as it is now 3 shows on per week on our local access channel like I do nw on CH-12 here in Pocatello and all but selling the show to potential advertisers, and all that is a skill I have not yet mastered. So it was maybe a stroke from above that the other night saw a cry for help from Julie, although as it turned out was not Julie but someone who had hacked her email and needed money. But at least I was back in contact with her. Julie not only looks good in front of the camera, but knows things that would make her valuable in the office as well. Now as I get on here, the idea of creating a Mountain West Cable/satellite network based on the basic concepts of CMT, RFDTV, Speed , and the military channel blending them together for all us kountry fied rednecks with some Hazzard County flair would not be such a bad idea in fact that is what we are working at but that requires taking baby steps to get there. More in the evening report.

CTJ HEADER1

The other night just for shyts and giggles I logged onto the email addy for the Rode Knytes and discovered a letter for help from all people one of my former associates Julie Mac. The one who warned me not to move to Cokeville two years ago and to whom I should have listened. There is something to be said for women's intuition as well as youthful intelligence. However the need for help from Julie was for not, as I quickly discovered as I asked a simple question that only Julie and I would know, that comes from military experience when looking for a downed aviator  ask a question that only the two of you know.  So I just hope that Julie might consider coming back into the operation of ours media wise. With me rolling over two TV stations here in Eastern Idaho plus everything else that is involved I need Julie so hey babe give me a ring will ya? Okay my pay check from cousin Bud finally arrived today. The thing was mailed the second of April and arrives on the 6th of April it took 6 days for the thing to get to me when mail from the same place got to me in 2 days in Heyburn. Does make ya'll wonder don't it. So since it is late will ease on out for now see ya'll menyanna.

Good numbers to ya'll
