There are many people that I work with and many I work around that say I shure hate Mormon's. The fact is I do not hate Mormon's nor any one else no matter their creed, or culture. The Federation's Prime Directive always encourages us as members of StarFleet Command and all to accept and learn from everyone we come into contact with. From birth to even today I retain although it may be a bit tarnished but I still maintain my LDS membership. However that said over the last few years I have began to develop a serious bad taste for many of the Church's higher authorities as well as those in authority on local levels. While one of my best friends on earth is the commander of the service support division of Deseret Transportation the church's trucking company still there have been things occur that has caused me to sit back and say, in my prayers as well as just thinking, Forgive them Father as they know not what they do. The Federation Prime Directive tells us not to interfere with a cultures, culture or the way they do things. Which I have tried not to do. However when one tells an employee(ME) that it is okay to court a young lady that works in the front office then is shunned so bad that you do not want to go to work, then discharged and yet that remains on their books so you can never work for the church again one needs to wonder, are we as Church members being shunned by our Father in Heaven or just by those of the church or of a certain ward of the church? However since this is one of those times of the year when the LDS Church holds it's annual conference I along with many even though I can't be in attendance in person will watch the conference on TV. However I wish I was there so that when the question is put before the congregation of Do you sustain this man as the see/er and profit of the Church all those doing so in favor manifest, then those who don't also manifest I'd like to be the one that raises my hand in protest. Thomas S Monson is an okay person but I do not feel he is the right person to take command of the LDS faith. But to circle the wagons and say attack I wont, but to end this I will say to those who feel I hate Mormons , you are wrong. To those who say I hate the church again you are wrong the fact that I live today is from a major blessing by some church authorities whom I feel are much more qualified than President Monson. So no I don't hate Mormons or the church but there are some Mormons I will keep at a serious distance.
My opinion I could be wrong
