There are days and hours that I really need to remind myself that I am no longer in the USCMC. More-over that there really is a difference between military folks and civilians. The Civvies are not all together well wrapped and they act without any pre planned thought, or battle plan. Perhaps that is why we suffer so as military people. We have to muddle through those with brain in gear as we are and those who drift through life in neutral. The most of them just coast through their flyte of life and it makes procurement of both intel, as well as equipment somewhat no hell very difficult that's putting in mildly. Surely as our forefathers would have considered this shit they today would have a fit if they had to muddle through the deep mud of stupid we now days both in and out of military service have to. Like this morning one of my neighbors was throwing a conniption over the fact I was on the phone all night with a member of both the VMA/214 as well as the Hazzard Knytes. As an exec officer of the Knytes he needs to know what we are doing here stateside, as in serving in the 214 near Iraq aboard a carrier ready on Cat-5 ready to soar, his days are my nights and my night are his days, but could I get this thought through a think near drunk mind? No. But as you settle in your bunk tonight remember you are part of the very few, very proud and extremely unique VMA/214 USCMC.
