Over the years I have been tagged with the notion that many feel I walk to the beat of a very different drummer. This is in my view not all that bad. Consider all the great achievements by those who also walked to that different drummer even to the point of dancing with a different band. From the light bulb, to the telegraph to cell phone is it not good that there are others like me who say fight this I see a different light and wish to seek its brilliance. However there are cultures even societies in our own nation that might not be so liberal to allow someone to walk to this different drummer. Like myself, when at age 11 when I first set foot in Hazzard, I suggested a local volunteer paramedic squad, staffed by youth involved in a Boy Scout explorer post. I was told I was nuts. But over several years the thing saw light and a local Quick Response Unit came into being. But not before I had been termed not all together tightly wrapped. My cousin Bud still in many ways thinks my ideas and concepts are not all together real, yet bit by bit most of my ideas are accepted by others and others put the deal together an make billions of dollars on it and I look and think that was my idea. Since my cousin Bud took over the duties of Trustee of the money left to me by my Dad and Mom Bud has killed, sidelined or just declined to put real money behind any of my ideas. Such as a radio station in Tooele Utah. I had the studios a radio station license that a broadcast company in Salt Lake City was willing to sell at a very low price and yet the thing got shit canned. Yet my cousin Bud got behind a used college book trading company and that ultimately went into the manure pile, Bud got folks he knew to back that, imagine my life and Bud's now if Bud would have just got behind my radio station idea in Tooele back when he Montgomery Trust had real money in it. But no Bud thought I did not have the business knowledge to make that happen. In fact my cousin Bud thinks I can't sell shoes, in fact it would not matter what it is my cousin thinks my ideas are too way out there to make a return on an investment. But now looking at how Tooele and that area has grown imagine if he would have said let me help you put this together instead of shooting it down. With Tooele's growth I could be sitting really well financially if not very happy I could even have had a family to call my own. Okay then too if Bud would have taken some of the $60,000.00 he lost investing in an annuity from some financial insurance outfit in Washington, that money would have never been lost. I would not be squeezing by on SSI and much of the past would never have taken place. If I could only get my cousin to see that a national media source for long haul truckers and rural America would be a good project and one he could get some of his more well to do friends to get behind then both he and I would not be so broke at the end of the month. Now to his loosing that $60,000.00 from the Trust do I plan on pushing to get some of that back , bet your next tank of diesel I do. Promises of ever seeing that money have just got to be just that, promises. What I want is half that $60,000.00 so I could get what I do on CH-12 here in Pocatello going on a much larger scale. Considering my show on CH-12 is the most watched local show not just on 12 but all over both Pocatello and Chubbuck, but the most talked about and two ratings sweeps being the number 1 show in eastern Idaho, imagine if the thing was put together where I could expand the offering of the show over the internet through online streaming, syndication as well as a station and/ or network of its own. Bud could sell ads and such for the thing get 20% or better commission income from it and I could at least be living in a nice place, making $5,000.00 a month or better and could be driving a new tow truck. Which most of that will happen after the suit I am working on with an attorney who saw my TV show on CH-12 concerning the loss of money from the Trust and that annuity, and is willing to take the case on free. Contingency is what that is. The same attorney is working up the legal documents for FCC filings and so on. If I were my cousin I'd be looking to find out where my money is and be for getting it in my hands purtty pronto. In closing here, friends just because someone sezz your walking to the beat of another drummer, don't let that be a bummer, let it be a reason for making all your seasons not just summer brighter.
