It used to be in the good old days that one could find modeling or TV ad talent on virtually any college campus. Then as I think now, between tuition, books lab fees and so on, no matter the gender higher education was expensive. Which is why I find so hard to figure out why its so dang difficult to find a Miss AyreWolf and/or Miss Dixie Diesel, to feature on out TV ads, and co-host the little TV gig I do on our local cable access channel. Back in March of this year I thought we had a real winner in this honey by the name of Sheena. She was from very eastern Idaho down yonder in Soda she was very kountry or so I thought and I considered the matter done. My was I wrong. The reply I got was that she was not getting paid, huh? Not getting paid? If in he works to generate or be paid $50.00 plus an hour doing our TV and such ads was not getting paid, I was asleep somewhere. If making nearly $6,000.00 a month is not getting paid, plus getting nominated for a full on scholarship of some $50,000.00 is not getting paid then I guess not. Guess she just not need the money. Now granted maybe working in a small studio at first was not at the top of her list of things to do, and the concept for our towing service branch where the tag shot was me smooching her toes for the tag to play on two words TOW and TOE as in Dixie Towing just loves TOW(E)'s probably sounded goofy, but she did audition for Brian's CW stations show America's Next Top Model. Did she think that the challenges on that show would be any less well challenging? Did she think that she was going to snag an immediate pay check there? Heck even getting selected for ANTM would also mean 6 months shooting in NYC, and then it would have been a big maybe. With us she got an immediate pay check each ,month on the 1st or 2nd of the month and a purtty healthy one at that. But oh well, but to pull the string here ad for me to snag some sleep, I'll leave you with this, it is that time of year when we here get it in gear to find a Miss AyreWolf and a Miss Dixie Diesel for 2008/09 the number is 208-705-0676
